I am excited to announce our first Female Counsel of 2024! It will be a virtual event and will take place at 9.30am on Thursday 18th January 2024. Please pop it in your diaries now!
I will be joined by three fabulous speakers, Alana Hasek from DLA Piper, Samantha Kakati from Mishcon de Reya and Fran Spooner from Marriott Harrison. They will lead our discussion on ‘The Reality of Partnership’.
All three have been partners for a few years at their respective firms and for the loyal supporters of Female Counsel, you will remember that Alana and Fran spoke some time ago about their individual journeys to partnership. This will be a follow-on session, describing the reality of partnership – what does it actually entail, was it what they expected, has it given them the platform to make changes, what have they learnt about the role of partner, has it given them a voice? As always with a Female Counsel event, I can confidently predict that we will have a very open and honest conversation, from the female perspective. Drawing not only from the speakers’ personal experiences but also from others who join the call and share their wisdom.
